  • Assist Student President
  • Assist HS positions as needed
  • Transport poles and rakes to and from the rodeos
  • Other duties as assigned by the NCHSRA Board of Directors
  • Prepare an agenda and lead Student Meetings prior to each rodeo
  • Submit student agenda items for monthly board meetings
  • Ensure banners, Medical bag, and spine board are delivered to each rodeo
  • Other duties as assigned by the NCHSRA Board of Directors

  • Read the NCSHRA By-Laws and abide by all rules
  • Attend all board meetings.  If you cannot attend a meeting, you must notify the President prior to the meeting.
  • Plan and participate in member activities and fundraisers
  • Be an example to your team.
  • Assist in arena set up including, but not limited to setting up and taking down banners.
  • Read the NCSHRA By-Laws and abide by all rules
  • Sell half and half tickets during Rodeo performances 
  • In order to be eligible for the Queen saddle and to receive 1/2 her entry fees paid, the Queen must transport flags, barrels, poles, and pads to each rodeo produced by NCHSRA
  • Read the NCSHRA By-Laws and abide by all rules
  • Attend National High School Rodeo Association meetings (mid-winter & finals)
  • Represent the state association at all times to the best reflection of our association
  • Keep Board of Directors informed of all changes and updates issued by Nationals
  • Attend all Board of Directors meetings

  • Read the NCSHRA By-Laws and abide by all rules
  • Prepare welcome packets for new/returning members
  • Issue minutes of board meetings within 2 weeks of each meeting
  • Attend board meetings
  • Inform members and board of important information regarding our association
  • Read the NCSHRA By-Laws and abide by all rules
  • Attend Board Meetings
  • Be in the arena during the entire rodeo acting as the Rodeo Arena Director

  • Read the NCSHRA By-Laws and abide by all rules
  • Provide financial reports after each rodeo to the Board of Directors within 2 weeks of completion
  • Issue payment of bills and scholarship awards in a timely fashion
  • Prepare payout envelopes for each rodeo
  • Read the NCSHRA By-Laws and abide by all rules
  • Attend board meeting
  • Preside over Board of Directors and lead board meetings

  • Track attendance at student meetings
  • Distribute monthly newsletter to all members and associated adults within 4 days of Board Meeting or other date as established by State Secretary
  • Mail cards as necessary to members for birthdays, illness, etc.
  • Help President and Vice President put up sponsor banners
  • Other duties as assigned by the NCHSRA Board of Directors
